| Three Strikes and You're Outta There |
Wow what to believe about John Mayer allegedly dumping Jennifer...... but sources close to both Jennifer and her best pals Courtney Cox and David Arquette insists it was the Jennifer who gave John his walking papers. (You Go Girl!) It was "Jennifer who decided to move on," says the friend. "She is very fond of John and has thought he might be the one. She finds him funny, sexy and very talented. ... Plus he understands all the aspects of living in a fishbowl. But in the final analysis, she just got tired of his roving eye."A full set vivid examples can be seen here @ SocialLite Life which has photos of the singer frolicking in a hot tub in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on a trip without Jennifer. Jennifer gave Mayer a "three strikes and you're out" ultimatum -- after learning about his "quickie" flings with a cocktail waitress and a promoter's assistant for his concert tour. That was two strikes. Another, with a groupie, was the final straw for Jennifer. A longtime Hollywood studio executive and good buddy ......adds this: "Above everything else, Jennifer is looking for stability and loyalty in a relationship. She still is hurting from losing Brad even after all this time." I wish I could give Jennifer a HUGE HUG !! But I sorta felt from the beginning it was more like a trophy thing for him ,than a relationship that would grow. My thoughts were merely a young man who wasn't out for anything more than a good time and another notch in his belt. JsTig aka

Burma It Can't Wait 30 Days for a Million Voices-Join the US Campaign |
Here's a new web site called Burma: It Can't wait. The US Campaign for Burma and the Human Rights Action Center. Jennifer graciously did a really amazing and funny video for which went live 05/04/08 AM- They are trying to raise awareness of the atrocities going down in Burma (70,000 child soldiers, 2x the number of villages burned as Darfur, systematic rape, political prisoners - it is a pretty dire situation.) So they came up with the idea to get 30 celebrities to be in 30 short films rolling out over the month of May. In addition to Jennifer's, also up are Will Farrell, Sarah Silverman, and Jason Biggs (coming up this week are Eddie Izzard, Ellen Page, etc. - it is a really cool campaign.) Jen's video, which she also directed, co-stars Woody Harrelson and was filmed on the Marley & Me set in Miami a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for sharing this Kool Video Natalie.

Crow 'fixes Jennifer up on a date' |
Jennifer may be on the way to finding love again thanks to good pal Sheryl Crow. Knowing the 39-year-old beauty was looking for that special someone, the singer is said to have played matchmaker and arranged for the actress to meet American musician John Mayer. So, on Friday, the Marley & Me star enjoyed a private late lunch in Miami with the Grammy winner. It seems the meeting must have been successful as the couple then went on to have a long dinner together. According to Charles Bell, manager of Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink restaurant where the pair enjoyed their 90-minute lunch date, Jen and John sat across from each other in an intimate booth, their heads together as they talked. There was more than conversation being shared, though. While the Friends actress had opted for a chopped chicken salad, she couldn't resist nibbling on some of her 30-year-old lunch partner's Serrano ham sandwich, added Charles. Then it was a case of one plate and two spoons as the couple shared a yummy peanut-butter-and-chocolate layered dessert. Speculation grew when the glamorous couple were spotted that night leaving South Beach's romantic Italian restaurant Casa Tua, with the musician's arm around Jennifer. John, who has previously dated singer Jessica Simpson, was later seen holding hands with the actress as they arrived at her hotel.

| Jennifer back to School in New York
|
Jennifer attended her New York high school reunion this week. The Friends star joined her old classmates at Manhattan's Rudolf Steiner School for an evening of reminiscing, 20 years after graduating. A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Jennifer was really happy to see everybody. She didn't play the star and was genuinely interested in finding out how everyone else's lives had turned out." The 38-year-old actress enrolled at the private academy - which encourages pupils to use their imagination and coordinate teaching around practical, artistic, and intellectual elements and the "natural rhythms of everyday life" - at the age of 11 and graduated aged 18 in 1987. It is believed Jennifer was voted "most likely to grace a magazine cover" by her classmates when she graduated. As we all know Jennifer has more meet the classes expectations of gracing the cover of a magazine hundreds and thousands times!

Jennifer on the Joy of Independence
If Jennifer Jennifer could be anyone else, she knows exactly who'd she'd choose to be. "I would love to be Oprah – for just one day," the actress tells Harper's Bazaar in the magazine's 140th anniversary issue. Jennifer and Winfrey have been pals for some time, and last year the talk show host shot down rumors that she was planning a $1 million wedding for the actress and her then-boyfriend, Vince Vaughn. Continuing the line of questioning about Jennifer's fantasy life, she's asked what she'd do if she worked for the government. "I'd be a spy. A very glamorous spy who plays poker and lives in Monaco," she says. "And has affairs with Daniel Craig." Talking more seriously about her life as one of the most recognizable faces in the world, Jennifer, 38, recounts once walking 40 blocks in New York City without anyone noticing her. "If you can get away from the paparazzi and they don't know where you are, you can actually walk, walk, walk," Jennifer says of the city where she is contemplating living again. I don't know, I'm just tired of Los Angeles," she tells the magazine, which goes on sale Oct. 23. "In New York, you're not just in that same car, looking at that same dashboard, driving down the same street." As for dealing with what both critics and the public think about her, she says she no longer pays attention to it. "I used to care a hell of a lot more about what people said or thought. But that had to change when my life was under a microscope being scrutinized and my personal life was being talked about," she says. "You have to go, 'This is not acceptable in any way,' whether it's about me personally or in business, success versus failure." The actress, who is currently filming the comedy He's Just Not That Into You, also defends her box office record saying, "I've read things that said I wasn't successful at the box office or that my big hit was The Break-Up. But I said, 'Wait a minute. There was Along Came Polly, which did really well, and Bruce Almighty was a pretty big movie.' "Still, Jennifer expresses surprise at her own massive success on television – and isn't afraid to poke a bit of fun at it. "I don't think anybody thought Friends would become what it did," she says. "It's all good, though. It's nothing but blessings," she says. "But seriously, who actually dances in a fountain?"

| Jennifer Ranked #1 Celebrity Covergirl |
Not Like any of us fans ever had a doubt!
When it comes to celebrity magazines actress Jennifer is the #1 cover girl, according to a Forbes.com ranking of the top-selling faces. The former "Friends" star was followed by her ex-husband actor Brad Pitt, the only man to appear in the top 10, who came in second. Actress Scarlett Johansson, Pitt's current partner Angelina Jolie, Reese Witherspoon and Katie Holmes rounded out the top six spots. The Web site, www.forbes.com, analyzed the sales of six weekly magazines -- People, Star, US Weekly, In Touch, OK! and Life&Style -- over a six month period ending June 30, 2007."We eliminated all non-celebrity and collage covers as well as special issues with exceptionally large rate bases," Forbes.com said. "Then we counted how many more-or-less issues the celebrity's cover sold, as compared with the magazine's average newsstand sales."Also factored in were the number of covers graced by a celebrity and their consumer appeal, which was rated by E-Poll Market Research.Singers and "American Idol" contestants Carrie Underwood and Jennifer Hudson tied for seventh place, and were followed by actress and Jenny Craig spokeswoman Valerie Bertinelli and morning talk show host Kelly Ripa. And while pop star Britney Spears appeared on 18 covers during the six months, the collective sales were some 600,000 below average, Forbes.com said, and combined with her low appeal score of 3, placed her last among the cover subjects. The only celebrity to have a lower appeal rating than Spears was Paris Hilton, the Web site said. Jennifer sits atop Forbes.com's first analysis of top-selling famous faces, based on several factors, including newsstand sales of celebrity weeklies People, Us Weekly, In Touch Weekly, Life & Style, OK and Star over a six-month period ending June 30, as supplied by the Audit Bureau of Circulations. The 38-year-old actress graced six covers -- appearing on every magazine except In Touch Weekly at least once during the time period -- with her face collectively selling more than 5 million copies, the Web site said Tuesday. Jennifer's ex-husband, Brad Pitt, takes second place on the list, followed by Scarlett Johansson, Angelina Jolie, Reese Witherspoon, Katie Holmes, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Valerie Bertinelli and Kelly Ripa.

To Star In "he's just not that into you" ![]() |
Can't Wait for a NEW Movie!
Talk about an ironic twist of fate, Jennifer is reportedly going to star in the movie "He's Just Not That Into You." The New York Times best seller is about to go into production and it already has an all-star cast. Haven't read the book yet? It’s a classic single-woman scenario: you really like this guy, but he’s giving mixed messages. You make excuses, decide he’s confused, afraid of commitment. The book promises to be The No-Excuses Truth to Understanding Guys. Jennifer will play a woman in a long-term relationship with a boyfriend who will not commit to marriage. She will join Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Connelly, Kevin Connolly, Bradley Cooper, Justin Long, and Ginnifer Goodwin

| Directorial Debut |
Shorts in season at festival
Jennifer has moved to the other side of the camera: Her directorial debut (actually co-directorial; she shares credit with writer Andrea Buchanan) is a short called "Room 10," starring Robin Wright Penn as a nurse whose marriage is falling apart. The film apparently focuses less on the "why" and more on the "how to get past it," and in this case it comes from caring for a patient played by Kris Kristofferson. The 18-minute film plays Tuesday at 7 p.m. as part of the opening-night festivities of the 11th annual Rhode Island International Film Festival. In a region rich with film fests, the RIIFF stands out as a go-to event. One reason is that it's among just 61 festivals internationally that are "qualifying" venues for short films for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences -- meaning that if a short plays there, it's eligible for an Oscar nomination. That status gives it good access to strong shorts. (Two nominees for last year's Academy Awards, Roger Allers's "The Little Matchgirl" and Leslie Iwerks's "Recycled Life," played the festival.) The opening night bill also includes actress Bryce Dallas Howard's "Orchids," about one woman's experience answering a personal ad, and costarring Alfred Molina; and former child actor Joseph Mazzello's Sept. 11 family drama "Matters of Life and Death," with David Strathairn and Rachael Leigh Cook. The opening gala starts with a cocktail reception at 5 p.m. (dress code: "red carpet casual") before the shorts program at 7 p.m. and party at 9, with separate tickets available for each. It's being held in style: The evening takes place at the swank Providence Performing Arts Center, which boasts a 3,300-seat theater with a 50-foot screen.

Studio Sues Blogger
|
Perez is likely in for a loss
Universal Studios files lawsuit claiming gossip blogger Perez Hilton posted a stolen topless photograph of Jennifer Aniston on the www. The suit Tuesday claiming the stolen image was posted on the Perez Hilton Internet site by Mario Lavandeira, aka Hilton. The picture was allegedly "misappropriated and illegally copied" during production or post-production of the 2006 romantic comedy hit "The Break-Up," starring the actress and Vince Vaughn, the suit said. The shot of Jennifer, was not included in the final version of the movie, which earned more than $118 million at the box office. The lawsuit, claiming copyright infringement and filed in U.S. District Court, said Lavandeira "posted all or parts of the stolen footage from the motion picture on his Web site." The suit seeks an injunction barring further distribution of the picture and requests a court order "directing the U.S. Marshal to seize" the copyrighted material from the 28-year-old blogger and seeks 7.5 million dollars in punishment for Mario. The complaint demanded a jury trial and monetary damages to be determined by the court. Last September, Jennifer and celebrity photographer Peter Brandt settled a lawsuit regarding topless photos Brandt shot of the actress in late 2005. "It's a confidential settlement," Aniston attorney Jay Lavely said. "The matter was amicably resolved." Jennifer sued Brandt in December 2005, claiming he invaded her privacy by using a telephoto lens to photograph her inside her home when she was topless or partly dressed. She alleged in the lawsuit that Brandt used "invasive, intrusive and unlawful measures" to capture the images. Brandt said he took the photos while standing on a public street about 300 yards away from Aniston's home.

| Nude Break Up Out Take Not for Your Eyes
No, You Will Not Find the Photos On AnistonAvenue.Com |
Lawyers have acted over nude pictures of Jen. Jennifer 's lawyers have sprung into action after nude pictures of the star from the movie The Break Up appeared on the internet. The pictures originated from cutting room floor outtakes from Jennifer 's strategically-covered nude scene in The Break Up. When her character walks through the house naked in a bid to tease her live-in ex-boyfriend, Vince Vaughn. Jennifer denied using a body double for the risqué scene, telling reporters: "No, I definitely didn't." "The problem is because the way it was shot, it was so specifically me." "They wanted to make it a tricky camera so you saw the face and then you go to the back." "It was hard to cut, unless you did it." Los Angeles law firm Lavely & Singer have been contacting publications who might be interested in publishing "nude or partially nude" photo of the popular actress, after the shot appeared on the internet, apparently scanned from the French magazine Choc. Having teamed up with NBC Universal, the film company behind The Break Up, the lawyers' letter urges publishers to return any unauthorised shots to NBC Universal. Now I'm pretty sure NBC & Lavely & Singer can get those photos yanked offline but I doubt NBC gets a mail box full of any hard copies sent to their mail box.
Best of luck to Jennifer in yet another nude
photo scam.

Jenn's bounce back shows she's one tough cookie. Jennifer has thrown herself into her job - with much critical acclaim. Her latest venture was a stint on the other side of the camera, directing a short film for Glamour Reel Moments in aid of charity. Jennifer teamed up with pal Andrea Buchanan to direct the film "Room 10" starring Robin Wright Penn and Kris Kristofferson. Jennifer premiered her new short film at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in California and it has been hailed as a touching portrayal of the real-life story of Glamour magazine reader Colleen Goldrick. It's about a nurse who gains perspective on her marital problems while caring for a dying patient And it's not just fans and critics who had praise for Jennifer, as one of the film's stars, singer Kristofferson, said the actress also shone behind the cameras. He said: "I have so much respect for Jennifer as an actress; it's very easy for me to take direction from her." Jennifer has also revealed that a former girlfriend of her ex-husband had inspired her to take on the charity project.

| Jennifer Wins People's Choice Award ![]() |
Congrats Jennifer !! Jennifer, who didn't walk the red carpet, won for favorite female movie star and was actually there to accept: "Thank you for loving 'The Break-Up" - I did," she said to big laughs. She was talking about the comedy hit she made with Vince Vaughn but EVERYONE seemed to be thinking of her break-up with Brad Pitt, or Vaughn. But she looked sensational and told the audience: You all have supported me since the days of 'Friends' and through all the good work, the bad work and the ugly." I just thank you for continually inviting me back." Thanks for all the votes of support fans !!

"Jennifer loves the show," said Cox. "All my friends that are in this business think it's fantastic and love it and are addicted. And they're asking me to slip them DVDs." Cox said that the friends discussed Jennifer appearing on the show during a recent vacation, reported Extra. "Would you want to play yourself or should we just write some fantastic character for you, or maybe you take Dirt down. I mean, I'm sure Jennifer would jus love to take one of the smut magazines down," said Cox. Jennifer is set to appear on the season finale.

| Jennifer Conquers Broadway, for a Night Thanks to Cat for the article. |
Two Thumbs Up on Broadway Jennifer had a one-night stand in Manhattan on Monday, impressing the crowd at the 6th Annual 24 Hour Plays on Broadway benefit, which featured six 10-minute plays conceived, written, rehearsed and performed all within one day. In her play, Three Girls and Bob her Broadway debut Jennifer played a single woman who attends an intimacy workshop with two friends (Rosie Perez and Lynn Whitfield) and then tries out its lessons on a hapless man (David Cross.) "It shouldn't be this hard," her character says of single life. Costar Perez who is on the board of the event's beneficiary, Working Playground, which brings arts education to New York City classrooms tells PEOPLE that Jennifer lent star wattage to the event. "We had a real boost from Jennifer" she said. "She was as sweet as pie. I really appreciated her coming because she raised the profile of tonight's event and that is going to help so much. She didn't have to do this. She didn't have to take time out of her schedule." How did Jennifer get involved? "The 24 Hour Plays people approached her and she said yes. But when she found out about Working Playground, she was over the moon. She said, 'I'll do all the press. I'll do whatever you want.' " Perez liked her acting, too: "She's got chops. She said she had performed Off-Broadway. She's really, really good." "She's a total pro," said Elizabeth Berkeley, who starred in another work performed Monday night. Other actors filling stages around Times Square included Anna Paquin, Gaby Hoffman, Kieran Culkin, Rachel Dratch, Julianna Margulies, Sam Rockwell, Liev Schreiber and Fisher Stevens. "She was great," Stevens said of Jennifer. "She came in and did her job. She was just one of the regular people." Actors were asked to bring props and costumes to the initial cast meeting on Sunday at 10 p.m. "Jennifer brought a chef's jacket," an insider tells PEOPLE. The next morning at 8 she showed up by herself and worked hard the entire day, never mentioning her personal life or boyfriend Vince Vaughn – who himself participated in a 24 Hour Plays benefit in London on Oct. 8. "Why would she?" said her costar David Cross. The 24 Hour Plays began at 10 p.m. the night before the show, when actors, writers and directors gathered at the theater to meet each other. The six writers worked through the night, crafting the 10-minute plays. The next morning, the directors chose and cast the plays before the actors returned to the theater and began rehearsing. At 8 p.m., after two hours of technical rehearsals, the performance began. Judging by the reaction of the audience inside the American Airlines Theatre and the New York Post which wrote in its Tuesday edition, "Jennifer made a hit debut on Broadway last night" Jennifer was a smash success! At the after party at The W Hotel, Jennifer sat at a banquette surrounded by friends, laughing and talking. "Call me," she said to one male pal before she left.
